Celebrating Christmas

Monday 25th December, 2023

The last week of every year is the Christmas celebration week. I was just back from a much needed vacation. I decided to visit New City Church to celebrate this occasion. I reached the venue alongwith Haripriya at 10:40am. Today she was volunteering to change the slides. We were warmly welcomed by Aji and Tarini.  Others were rehearsing on the songs and instruments. 

Meanwhile I captured a click with Anand and Ajitha. 

People started joining in and greeting Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It started with the initial prayer songs led by Felix and team, followed by the sermons from the lead pastor Anand. It elaborated on the birth of Jesus Christ. A few kids sang short phrases as well. Anand briefed a recap of the December celebration including Christmas Carols. He also invited all, followers and explorers on the New Year Eve Service on 31st Dec, 2023 at 10pm. The service was concluded with a communion at around 12:30pm. Post the service, Haripriya and I had a stomach full of lunch at Butterfly High. 

The restaurant was decorated with Christmas theme. Food was tasty and we had meaningful conversations.
