School

Kinder-garden and Class I and II were studied in St. Francis High School. I do not recollect much of it except the names of my teachers (Helen, Sherill, Irin, Jyotsna, Reshma) through this short journey. Being a convent school, I inherited its cursive writing. Life moved on from the chawls of Malad's Kurar Village to the flat of Virar (famous for its Jivdani Mata temple). I was enrolled in N. G. Vartak High School. The transition from a convent to english medium had its effects on the initial days in Class III. The eight years schooling was completed here along with the SSC Board Exam Centre.
