Essel World
Yet another post to start with Class VIII! Its not that I don't remember other times of school days; its just that this year was too memorable. This post doesn't have traces from the teenage diary. It’s on special request by my special friend VJ, Vijeta Naik who was my partner on this trip. Like every year, picnic was organised but this time it was Essel World! All were so happy and excited. For the first time the whole class was ready to go. Same was the case with other classes also. Our big playground was full with buses. We started the journey with Ganpati Bappa Morya and Jivdani Mata ki Jai! The journey was full of songs, jokes, dance, etc. We reached the destination, submitted our bags, put on our caps and goggles and were off to the rides. This was a teenage starter so we were gonna try all the daring rides. We started with Cup and Saucer; that was what we saw first. Hot wheels seemed to be so cold initially but then it was up and down and up and down finished what! There were Lazy cars; besides there was Aqua ride! This Nishant Kulkarni, Chandni Jha, Abhijeet Shinde and one more friend liked Aqua Dive so much that they didn't move from there in the morning. But later there was such a long queue. But I and Vijeta did get a chance. If you are on the first seat, you get less wet than those on the last seat. Now we were wet, what to do! There's Enterprise to work as a dryer! It was like flying in the air. Thunder was topsy turvey ride. Snehal Kesari was disappointed because she wasn't allowed due to rules. Nishant had coins in his shirt pocket. Once all were upside down I don't need to tell what happened to the coins!! Rainbow gave a complete view of Essel World and Water Kingdom. There was a long queue at Octopus. We saw Nikhila Kamath, Deepali Mehta and Gemini Sawardekar in that ride. I and Vijeta decided to leave it and indeed we covered all other rides twice. Poonam Pandya was busy eating candy floss all the while and rest of us had chocobars. We did enjoy small rides like Merry-go-round, boat, train and I don't remember others. There was Maze, House of Mirrors and Monster villa also. Lunch was arranged in Kamath restaurant. It was Pav Bhaji, guys all remember Pav! Rishi Lehar won a soft toy in games. We just didn't realise how the time passed. We got back in the evening and as usual my bus had a tyre puncture to add more fun! Actually it happened always on picnics, excursions, visits, etc that the bus tyre got punctured and we got to play on the very spot. So, one more memory put on paper.
really the moments were awesome...just to add to it i with my gang had also entered in water kingdom from the back of the grills...:p :p
