04.06.2025: The return journey (Tallinn to Istanbul to Mumbai)

Good morning from Tallinn! I woke up at 06:30am and had breakfast at 07:30am. Luggage was kept at the reception and everyone got busy exchanging numbers, hugs, clicking photos. The bus arrived and luggage was loaded. We had a group photo and boarded the bus to drive towards the airport.

We reached the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport at 09:30am. It took quite a lot time at the check-in counter queue to get the boarding passes: Tallinn to Istanbul and Istanbul to Mumbai. We passed the security checking and then reached the gate at 10:30am. The Immigration counter was at the gate; passport was stamped and then we were waiting for the flight. 

Boarding started at 11:50am and we took off at 12:40pm. The Turkish airline TK1422 had seat arrangements ABC | DEF and my seat was 12F. Surekha Walke was on 12D, middle seat was vacant. Meal was served at 01:30pm. 

I was on a movie watching marathon. We landed on the Istanbul airport at 4pm. There is no time difference here. We directly entered the flights gates area so there would be no security checking now. We had free time till 07:30pm. 

We reached the gate F8, boarding started at 8pm and the flight took off at 08:30pm. The Turkish Airline TK0720 had seat arrangement as ABC | DEG | HJK and my seat was 30K. There was a lady on 30H and the middle seat was vacant. Again, the movie watching marathon. Meal was served at 10pm. 

We landed on the CSMIA at 4am IST on 05.06.2025. Immigration counter queue took quite some time. I took my luggage from the belt and left the airport at 05:30am. I took an auto, reached the Andheri station and boarded Virar Fast train. For the last 10days, I literally lived my Europe dream for the second time. Wishing for many more such times!
