Saturday brunch @ The Capital Mall
The first ever spacious mall at Nallasopara is situated an auto-ride away from the railway station. I have been wanting to take a tour of this mall since the time it was launched but somehow could not make time for it. Well, this is not the first mall I am visiting; had already been through Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, R City Ghatkopar, Infiniti Malad, Oberoi Goregaon, Phoenix Palladium Lower Parel. Finally on 9th July 2022, I decided to have a Saturday Brunch with Self at this mall. I took the last bridge to come out of the station. There are sharing autos for Rs. 15 to the mall. As usual, the security screening was done, and I entered the mall at ground level.
I went down to the lower ground to start the tour. There is Star Bazaar, Zudio, a few food outlets, Reliance Trends (I bought my birthday top here), Gift Shops, etc.
At the ground level, I browsed through Pantaloons and Lifestyle. Both these stores are connected to the ground to the first level. At level two, PVR was in progress. The food court is at level three along with Timezone. I spent some time brunching on Veg fingers with Cappuchino. Then I tried Peri Peri Fries at The Gargi Cafe (with a 50% discount).
The sitting area is for all type of visitors, family, gang of friends, couples, and singles like me. There are long sitting benches on the ground floor. In all it's a good place to hang around on weekends. I would like to share an incident: while having my fries, there was a power cut and in a few seconds the generators were on. Well, this gives an idea that the mall is in Vasai Taluka 😜. There is also an auto stand to take you to the station on sharing Rs. 15.
New Attractions include Bowling arena and PVR.
