Statue of Unity: Part Four

24th March 2024 afternoon

The Butterfly Garden

It has been developed in a way to create an environment that attracts butterflies and gives them a habitat to proliferate. Explore different butterfly species that inhabit the garden. Identify the plant species and learn about their unique features. Observe the preferences of each species for its specific nectar plant and larval host plant. Look for the species gathering around the puddling area and certain sap/alkaloid producing plants. I hardly saw any butterflies here, so have captured the models of different species.

We spent some fifteen minutes here. Then had a washroom break and icecream and waited at the pickup point for the bus.

Finally the circular bus arrival, so this is different from other buses. This bus makes a stop at every attraction and at the end reaches the SOU bus station. The bus conductor said that it will take an hour to reach SOU. Now given the amount of walking done, I was in no mood to get off the bus and then again wait for another bus which would take us directly to the SOU. There was also a family alongwith us, so then we all decided to take this God gifted tour. We paid the amount of the distance between the cactus garden and SOU. It was just that instead of 15 minutes, it would take an hour. What happened in that hour, in the next post ofcourse.
