Diwali Celebration with System's Family: 18.10.2017

Preparations started on 16th Oct with all the girls taking charge of decorations. Small lanterns were hanged to the ceiling, all the pillars got covered with diya strings, there were led lighting, a small diwali photo window and rangoli was put at the entrance.

All were dressed in traditional attire: ladies were in sarees, churidaars and sarara while gents were in as usual kurtas and phetas. Group and individual photo sessions were on. Sanket Dias took the photographer's role. CommunIT team (Chandrashekhar Todur, Siddharth Gadekar, Nikhil Deshmukh, Anuj Shah) took charge for the day events. We all were handed over nomination sheet for Asian Paints Systems Awards 2017. Done with nominating for the prestigious awards, we all went on the garden ground for our Family Photo:

After clicking selfies and groupfies, we were back to the floor to get divided into four groups (Chakli, Chivda, Karanji, Ladoo) for the games and activities. Chivda team desperately wanted Sanket Chavda, but Chakli team did not budge. The first game was Diwali Puzzles: there were MCQs, crossword, word search and count the diyas. The second game was "Mannequin Challenge" where people remain frozen in action like mannequins while a moving camera films them, here the theme was Diwali. The third game was Guess the Celebrities, here photos (of the System's members) were picked from the social networking sites and divided into 9 tiles, with 3 tiles visible (it was of no use since those did not give much hint of the person). Every few seconds the remaining tiles were shown one by one. The earlier we guess the more points we could grab. Then as usual our family game, Housie followed by lunch break.

  

Post lunch we had gift distributions to housekeeping folks, security and staff. Then the most awaited Asian Paints Systems Awards 2017 and the winners are:

Ladoo team scored the highest points. The day ended on a happy note with the Promotion circular for Sanket Dias and Sathiya Krishnan.
