Freerice
Freerice is a website and mobile application that allows players to donate rice to families in need by playing a multiple-choice quiz game. For every question, the user answers correctly, ten grains of rice are donated via the United Nations World Food Programme. The categories can be played on up to five difficulty levels, depending on the subject. A user's total score is displayed as a mound of rice and the number of grains earned. As a part of the CSR activity, I enrolled for this programme. This game is a better way to learn while playing and donate at the same time. The user can choose from different categories:
- Art & Culture: Famous Quotations, Current Events, Philosophy, Famous Paintings, Literature, Movies, Classical Music, etc
- History: World History, World Geography, World Capitals, World Landmarks, World Countries, World Flags, etc
- Sustainability: Global Goals, Climate Action, Food Waste, etc
- English: Proverbs, Vocabulary, Grammer, Spellings, etc
- Languages: Romanian, Spanish, French, German, Latin, etc
- Japanese: Hiragana, Katakana, Vocabulary.
- Chinese: Mandarin, Pinyin to English, etc
- Math: Derivatives, Geometry, Multiplication, Algebra.
